Measurement you can rely on

In oil and gas, pressure and temperature readings feed control systems, alarms and shutdowns. An instrument that has drifted can mean lost production or a missed warning. Calibration at regular intervals, with traceable results, is how you know the readings are right.

We can also help choose the right instrument in the first place, including materials, ranges and connections suited to your process.

Common questions from oil and gas sites

Can you supply instruments for hazardous areas?

Yes. We supply explosion-proof pressure switches and intrinsically safe pressure calibrators, among others. Tell us the area classification and the certification your site requires and we will confirm the right model.

How often should pressure gauges and transmitters be calibrated?

Twelve months is the common cycle. Bring it forward for instruments on pulsating service, anything that has been over-pressured or dropped, and instruments feeding a safety case. See pressure gauge calibration.

Can you work around a shutdown?

Send us your instrument list ahead of the shutdown and we will plan workshop and on-site calibration to suit your schedule where possible.

Workshop or site

Portable instruments and spares can come to our Canning Vale workshop. Installed instruments can be calibrated on site.

Tell us your due dates and we will remind you when instruments fall due.

Certificates and repairs

Every calibration comes with a certificate showing as-found and as-left readings.

Where an instrument fails calibration, we will tell you what is wrong and what a repair would involve before doing the work.
