On-Site & Field Calibration Services
Hinco Instruments provides on-site calibration, installation and commissioning across Western Australia, with our technicians travelling to mine sites, processing plants, treatment facilities and workshops. Some instruments cannot leave the plant, some are installed in place, and some are simply too numerous to send away one at a time. For all three situations, we bring the calibration to you.
Seventy years of instrumentation work in WA means our field technicians arrive understanding both the instruments and the sites they sit in.

What we do on site
Installation and commissioning
Mounting, wiring, configuration, loop checking and verification against your control system. Commissioning includes documented verification, so the instrument enters service with a record rather than an assumption.
On-site calibration
Field calibration across pressure, temperature, electrical, gas detection, environmental and analytical. Where an instrument needs laboratory conditions we will say so and arrange collection instead.
Gas leak detection systems
Servicing, calibration and bump testing of fixed installations and portable detectors. Fixed systems are checked as a system — sensor, controller and alarm response — not just at the sensor head.
Pneumatic instrumentation
Calibration and servicing of pneumatic instrumentation and control loops, including transmitters, controllers, positioners and pneumatic indication still in service across older plants.
Trade waste sampling
We carry out trade waste sampling on site and provide you with a report.
Working on your site
Hazardous area compliance
Our technicians hold hazardous area qualifications and work to AS/NZS 60079 for installation, inspection and maintenance in explosive atmospheres. In a classified area that competence is not optional, and we can evidence it.
Safety and inductions
We operate to a zero-harm standard. Technicians hold current inductions, tickets and licences and meet fitness-for-work requirements. Documentation can be provided ahead of mobilisation so a visit is not delayed at the gate.
Where we travel
Metropolitan Perth, the South West, the Goldfields, the Mid West and Pilbara, and remote WA sites. Travel is quoted with the work, and where many instruments fall due at once we plan a single visit.
