Founded in 1956 through the collaboration of Professor William A Penny and Mr James A Giles, Penny & Giles identified a demand for precision instrumentation in the aviation industry. They developed high-precision, reliable wire-wound potentiometric devices for customers involved in aircraft flight testing. Todays product range includes machine monitoring solutions, encompassing linear and rotary position sensors, LVDT and RVDT transducers, joystick controllers, studio faders, digital panel meters, solenoids, cockpit voice and flight data recorders, air data test sets, pitot-static leak testers, and ice & snow detection systems.
