Hinco Instruments provides traceable calibration for torque, thickness and dimensional measuring equipment, serving customers across Australia from our Perth, WA base.
Calibrated in our ISO 9001 laboratory in Canning Vale, with results traceable to national standards and backed by seventy years of instrumentation service in Western Australia.

What we calibrate
Torque wrench calibration
Verified against the torque shown on the scale across the working range. Both under- and over-tightening cause failures, and neither is visible at the time the work is done. Click-type, mechanical and digital wrenches.
Thickness gauge calibration
Ultrasonic thickness gauges for corrosion monitoring and wall-thickness surveys. The readings feed asset integrity decisions, so the gauge needs verifying against known standards rather than being trusted because it still switches on.
Micrometer calibration
Micrometers calibrated across their measuring range for workshop and inspection use. Scheduled and returned alongside your torque and thickness equipment rather than one at a time.
Good to know
Calibration intervals
Twelve months is the usual interval across all three instrument types. Shorten it where a tool is in daily site service, has been dropped, or is about to be used on work that will be audited.
Tell us your due dates and we will remind you when instruments fall due, so calibration is scheduled rather than discovered during an audit.
Certificates and turnaround
Every calibration is issued with a certificate recording the as-found and as-left condition, the reference standards used and their traceability.
Where an instrument fails calibration, we will tell you what is wrong and what a repair would involve before doing the work.
