Hinco Instruments provides traceable calibration for pressure gauges, transmitters, switches and process calibrators, serving customers across Australia from our Perth, WA base. A pressure gauge does not usually fail outright — it drifts, sticks, or reads low after a shock, and it keeps showing a number the whole time. Calibration is how you find out which number to trust.
We calibrate instruments from the leading industrial brands including DwyerOmega, Vaisala, WIKA and Druck, mechanical and digital alike, whether or not you bought them from us.

What we calibrate
Gauges and indicators
Bourdon tube and diaphragm gauges, digital pressure indicators, vacuum and compound gauges, calibrated across the working range rather than at one convenient point.
Transmitters and switches
Pressure transmitters and transducers verified against their output signal, and pressure switches checked for set point and reset differential.
Backflow prevention devices
Backflow prevention devices protect the drinking water supply and are a plumbing matter rather than trade waste, though the two get confused. We test and calibrate them and the test kits used on them.
Process calibrators
The reference instruments your own team calibrates with — hand pumps, loop calibrators and portable pressure calibrators. If the reference has drifted, everything checked against it has too.

Traceable, and where NATA applies
Pressure calibration at Hinco is traceable — measured against reference standards whose own calibration chain leads back to national standards, and documented on a certificate you can put in front of an auditor. Our ISO 9001 quality system governs how that work is done.
NATA accreditation is a separate thing, and ours covers temperature. If you specifically need a NATA-endorsed certificate, see NATA-accredited temperature calibration. We will always tell you which of the two you are getting rather than let the words blur together.

Calibration intervals
Twelve months is the common cycle. Bring it forward for gauges on pulsating service, anything that has been over-pressured or dropped, and instruments feeding a safety case.
On site or in the laboratory
Installed instruments can be calibrated in place across Perth metro and regional WA. Where laboratory conditions give a better result we will say so.
Technical support
We provide technical support and programming assistance for all products we sell and service, so an instrument goes back into service set up the way you need it.
