Water Quality & Electrochemical Sensor Calibration
Hinco Instruments provides traceable calibration for electrochemical sensors and water quality analysers, serving customers across Australia from our Perth, WA base. pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, chlorine and turbidity sensors all drift as membranes age, electrodes foul and reference junctions degrade — and unlike a mechanical fault, sensor drift produces readings that look entirely plausible while being wrong.
We calibrate analytical instrumentation for water utilities, mine site water treatment, food and beverage processing, laboratories and local government, with calibration solutions supplied as required.
Need a sensor calibrated?
Send it to our Canning Vale laboratory or have it calibrated in place. Tell us the sensor type and we will come back with a quote and turnaround.
Looking to buy?
We supply analytical instrumentation including the Georg Fischer Signet and Royce Water ranges. Browse the range or ask us to help you specify.

Electrochemical sensors we calibrate
pH probe calibration
pH electrodes and analysers calibrated using traceable buffer solutions. The most drift-prone measurement in most water treatment systems, and the one most often relied on for discharge compliance.
Conductivity and salinity
Conductivity cells, salinity meters and their transmitters, calibrated against traceable standard solutions across the range you actually operate in.
Dissolved oxygen meters
Optical and membrane dissolved oxygen sensors, calibrated for aeration control, environmental monitoring and process applications.
Chlorine and monochloramine sensors
Free chlorine, total chlorine and monochloramine sensors used in potable water treatment, disinfection monitoring and process water systems.
Turbidity sensors
Turbidity sensors and analysers calibrated against traceable formazin standards for filtration performance monitoring and water quality reporting.
Good to know
Calibration solutions supplied
Electrochemical calibration consumes solution, and the quality of that solution sets the quality of the calibration. We can supply the buffer and standard solutions used in your calibration, and for your own routine checks in between.
Calibration intervals
Electrochemical sensors need more frequent attention than most instrument types. Twelve months is a common formal interval, but pH and chlorine sensors in demanding service warrant more frequent checking.
Industries we support
Water and wastewater utilities, mining and mineral processing water circuits, food and beverage production, aquaculture, laboratories, and local government environmental monitoring programs. Where sensors form part of a discharge monitoring programme, see trade waste sampling and monitoring.
