Ametek Jofra RTC

The Ametek Jofra RTC Reference Temperature Calibrator is a portable dry block designed for the highest accuracy temperature calibration work in both laboratory and field environments. Where standard dry block calibrators offer adequate performance for routine maintenance, the RTC is engineered for primary standard calibration, NATA-accredited laboratory work, and applications where measurement uncertainty must be minimised.

The RTC-157 covers -30 to 157°C using integrated Peltier cooling — enabling sub-ambient calibration without ice baths or separate cooling equipment. The RTC-250 A covers ambient to 250°C. Both models deliver ±0.01°C set-point stability and achieve ±0.04°C accuracy when used with a calibrated external reference probe. Dual external reference probe inputs allow simultaneous reference and test sensor readout on the high-resolution display, removing the systematic error introduced by single-reference arrangements.

The 25 mm insert well accepts precision-machined multi-bore inserts for simultaneous calibration of multiple sensors, and the PID set-point controller with fine temperature trimming ensures rapid, stable set-point acquisition. Universal AC mains power (100–240 V) is standard, and the instrument is designed to meet the requirements of NATA, ISO 17025, and traceable calibration programs.
