The Ametek Jofra ETC Extremely Precise Temperature Calibrator is a high-performance portable dry block designed for calibration applications where standard field calibrators are not accurate enough. Bridging the gap between routine-maintenance dry blocks and laboratory reference baths, the ETC delivers primary-standard dry block accuracy in a format that can be taken to the instrument — whether that is in a calibration laboratory, a pharmaceutical production suite, or an oil refinery.
Two models address the key calibration temperature ranges: the ETC-125 A covers -90 to 125°C, supporting sub-ambient, ambient and low-process temperature calibration including cryogenic and refrigerated applications; and the ETC-660 A covers 50 to 660°C for high-temperature calibration of thermocouples and industrial RTDs. Both models deliver ±0.01°C set-point stability and achieve ±0.04°C accuracy when used with a calibrated external reference probe. Dual external reference probe inputs with high-resolution readout eliminate cold junction and reference uncertainty. The 25 mm precision-bored insert well accepts multi-bore inserts for simultaneous calibration of multiple sensors, and the PID controller with fine temperature trimming ensures rapid, stable acquisition at each set-point.
The ETC is designed to meet the exacting requirements of NATA accreditation, ISO 17025 calibration programs, and pharmaceutical validation protocols including IQ/OQ/PQ. Universal AC mains power (100–240 V) is standard.
