The Major Tech MT560 is a compact, handheld digital insulation tester built for electricians and maintenance technicians. It offers four insulation test voltages — 125V, 250V, 500V and 1000V — each supplying more than 1 mA to charge capacitive loads, with measurement up to 4000 MΩ.
A large dual display with analogue bargraph makes readings easy to interpret. The MT560 also measures AC voltage to 750V and DC voltage to 1000V, with live-circuit detection that blocks insulation tests above 30V and automatic discharge of capacitive voltage after each test. MIN/MAX recording, data hold, a continuity buzzer, illuminated display, lock-down test button, hands-free strap and magnet round out a practical everyday tester.
Safety rated CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V — ideal for insulation resistance testing on cables, motors, switchboards and installations.
