The Major Tech MT775 is a CAT IV 600V, 6000-count true-RMS clamp meter measuring up to 1000A AC/DC through a 30 mm jaw. Beyond current, it reads AC/DC voltage, resistance to 40 MΩ, capacitance to 40 mF, frequency and temperature (-40 to 1000 °C), and captures 100 ms inrush current and peak values.
A VFD mode gives stable readings on variable frequency drive outputs, while the Low-Z function filters out ghost voltages for reliable results. Non-contact voltage detection, data hold, a large backlit LCD and a built-in flashlight make it easy to work in tight or dimly lit spaces. The double-moulded rubber housing stands up to daily site use.
