The APCS SI289 Signal Isolator is an isolating transmitter designed for factory set input output combinations providing true 3-way galvanic isolation up to 2000V rms.
The APCS SI289 is a DIN-rail isolating transmitter for signal conditioning with fixed, factory-set input and output combinations. It provides true 3-way galvanic isolation between input, output and power supply, up to 2000 Vrms.
Power is magnetically coupled to the input and output sides, and the signal is transferred optically, which improves accuracy and noise immunity in demanding plant. A wide-range AC or DC supply suits most panels. It is used to isolate 4–20 mA loops, break earth loops on long cable runs and protect PLC and SCADA inputs. See the SI289 datasheet.
