The APCS SI231 v3 is an isolated, loop-powered signal isolator and converter for common process signals. Inputs are field configurable for 4–20 mA, 0–1 mA, 0–10 mA, 0–20 mA, 0–1 V, 0–2 V, 0–5 V, 1–5 V and 0–10 V, with 2-wire loop-powered or 3-wire output, 2000 Vrms isolation, adjustable response time and front span and zero adjustment.
Typical uses include converting signals for PLC inputs, breaking ground loops, protecting equipment from dangerous floating voltages and filtering common-mode noise.
