The APCS SI236 Signal Isolator v3 is an isolation and signal conversion device for common DC current and voltage signals. It offers a wide range of input and output signals, 2000Vrms isolation, and field configurable input/output. It also includes sensor excitation, link selectable response time, and front adjustments for span and zero. The device can be powered by DC or AC supplies up to 160Vdc or 150Vac and is commonly used for signal conversion, prevention of ground and current loops, protection from floating voltages, and filtering of common mode noise.
