The Gems LS-1800 is an intermediate-size single-point float level switch for oils and water, including high-viscosity liquids. Its large float displacement gives extra stability in rough service, where turbulence or agitation would upset a smaller float.
A hermetically sealed reed switch provides the level signal, and the rugged construction suits general-purpose level control in demanding plant. Typical uses include hydraulic reservoirs, lube oil tanks, coolant and quench tanks, bulk storage and machinery level alarms. Mounting and ratings are in the LS-1800 datasheet.
