A 325 mm (12.8″) low-loss coaxial lead that relocates the Wi-Fi / P2P antenna off your Define IoT gateway or wireless node — ideal for mounting the unit inside an enclosure. Male connector. See also the AEC-CELL cellular variant.
Measuring 325 mm (12.8″), the low-loss coaxial lead terminates in a male connector that mates directly with a Define Instruments Wi-Fi antenna. This allows the antenna to be moved off the device and mounted on the outside of a control cabinet or enclosure — a common requirement where the unit itself must be housed inside metal switchgear that would otherwise block or attenuate the wireless signal.
Relocating the antenna externally helps maintain a reliable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi / P2P link for remote monitoring, telemetry and data-logging applications, particularly at sites with marginal signal strength. A female-connector variant, the AEC-CELL, is available for Define Instruments cellular (4G/5G) antennas.
