Major Tech MT962 Bargraph Moisture Meter
Bargraph moisture meter for timber (6–44%) and building materials such as plaster, concrete and mortar (0.2–2.0%). Integral replaceable pin electrodes, resistance measuring principle, ~0.8 s sampling and LCD bargraph.
The Major Tech MT962 is a pin-type moisture meter for sawn timber from 6 to 44% and for hardened building materials such as plaster, concrete and mortar, plus drywall, cardboard and paper, from 0.2 to 2.0%. It works on the electrical resistance principle using integral, replaceable 8 mm pins.
Readings appear on an LCD bargraph in about 0.8 seconds, with ±1% accuracy on wood and ±0.05% on building materials. The impact-proof 100 g housing runs on three CR2032 cells and switches off automatically. It is a handy test instrument for flooring, building surveys and water-damage restoration.
