The HIOKI PQ3198-94 is a Class A power quality analyser compliant with IEC 61000-4-30 Ed.3. It records harmonics, flicker, transients, voltage dips, swells, and unbalance on 3-phase systems — supplied as a kit with four current sensors.

The HIOKI PQ3198 power quality analyser is HIOKI’s flagship instrument for comprehensive power quality measurement and power supply anomaly investigation. Compliant with IEC 61000-4-30 Edition 3 Class A — the highest accuracy class defined by the standard — it delivers the gapless, continuous recording required for dispute resolution, regulatory compliance reporting, and detailed investigation of power supply problems.

The PQ3198 measures all key power quality parameters simultaneously: harmonics up to the 80th order (including supraharmonics to 80 kHz), flicker (Pst and Plt), voltage unbalance, transient voltages up to 6,000 V at 2 MS/s sampling, and voltage dips and swells. Voltage measurement accuracy of ±0.1% of nominal makes it suitable for the most demanding grid compliance applications. The PQ3198-94 kit includes four CT sensors for immediate deployment on 3-phase power quality investigations.
