The HIOKI CM4001 AC leakage clamp meter is designed for detecting earth leakage and ground fault current in electrical distribution systems without interrupting the circuit. With a 0.1 mA resolution and True RMS measurement technology, it accurately captures leakage current even on distorted or non-sinusoidal waveforms — common in installations with variable speed drives, inverters, and switching power supplies.
The 40 mm jaw accepts single-core and multi-core cables, and the peak hold function captures transient leakage events that might otherwise be missed. The CM4001 is compatible with the optional HIOKI Z3210 Wireless Adapter for Bluetooth® data transfer to GENNECT Cross, enabling wireless report generation directly from the test site.
