Lutron DT-2236 Tachometer

The Lutron DT-2236 combines a non-contact photo tachometer and a contact tachometer in a single instrument, so you can measure rotational speed whether or not you can safely touch the shaft.

Two measuring methods, one tool

Use the optical mode with reflective tape to read the speed of exposed rotating parts from a safe distance, or fit a contact tip to measure RPM and surface speed directly. Memory recall of maximum, minimum and last readings makes the DT-2236 easy to use single-handed in the field.
