Ametek HPC50

The Ametek Jofra HPC50 is a high-accuracy handheld pressure calibrator designed for complete loop calibration of pressure transmitters and instruments in the field. It combines precise pressure measurement across gauge, absolute and differential modes with integrated electrical signal sourcing — making it possible to calibrate an entire pressure loop from a single instrument, without additional equipment.

Pressure measurement ranges span from -1 to 0.025 bar up to -1 to 700 bar across interchangeable pressure modules, giving the HPC50 unmatched flexibility for a single-instrument calibrator. Accuracy is 0.035% of reading, and the instrument is fully temperature compensated from -20 to 50°C so field use in varying environments does not compromise results. The dual-line LCD simultaneously displays pressure and electrical readings, and the built-in HART modem allows communication with smart transmitters for configuration, calibration and diagnostics without a separate communicator.

For loop calibration, the HPC50 measures and sources 4–20 mA signals and provides 24 V DC loop power to power the transmitter under test directly from the calibrator. An IP54-rated, drop-tested housing and rechargeable Li-ion battery providing up to 10 hours of operation make the HPC50 suited to sustained field use. Intrinsically safe (ATEX/IECEx Zone 1) models are available for use in hazardous areas, and on-board calibration record storage with PC download via USB supports documentation requirements.
