The Hycontrol Reflex VF05 TDR Measurement Probe is a guided-wave radar level sensor that provides accurate continuous measurement of both liquids and solids up to a maximum range of 30 metres, with an accuracy of ±5 mm. Working on the time domain reflectometry (TDR) principle, it guides a low-energy microwave pulse along a rod or cable probe and measures the reflection from the material surface, delivering a stable reading that is unaffected by pressure, temperature, viscosity, vacuum, foam, dust, coating or changes in dielectric constant.

This immunity to difficult process conditions makes the Reflex VF05 a dependable choice where non-contact and conventional technologies struggle, such as foaming liquids, dusty silos, agitated vessels or media with varying density.
