The Intrinsically Safe Torch is a certified explosion-proof torch built for hazardous areas where flammable gases or dust may be present. Supplied by Hinco Instruments in Perth, WA, it’s ideal for mining, oil & gas, chemical and utility work.
Carrying UL, ATEX and IECEx approvals (AS/NZS 60079.11), the torch is designed for safe use in explosive atmospheres. A tough, high-impact housing, hi-vis body, non-slip handle and pocket/belt clip make it practical for everyday field use.
A 1 W Osram LED delivers up to 80 lumens with a 122-metre beam and an exceptional run time of up to 14 hours 55 minutes on high, powered by four AA alkaline batteries (Energizer E91 or Duracell MN1500 recommended).
