The lagoon aerator from Royce Water Technologies is a low-energy, water-moving aerator for treating water and wastewater in ponds, lakes and lagoons. It adds up to 9.0 kg of oxygen per hour while drawing no more than 3 kW, using up to 80% less energy than conventional surface aerators.
There are no propellers or shafts to foul, no belts or gearboxes to wear out, and no corrosive metals in contact with the water, as the body is made from recycled HDPE. That keeps maintenance low for wastewater lagoons, stormwater and irrigation ponds, and farm and mine water storage. It complements the Royce analytical instruments used to monitor dissolved oxygen and water quality.
