Major Tech MT155 Coating Thickness Meter
Non-destructive coating thickness meter, 0–1350 µm. Dual magnetic-induction (ferrous) and eddy-current (non-ferrous) sensors, ±(2.5%+2 µm) accuracy, fast precise readings for paint, plating and protective coatings.
The Major Tech MT155 is a non-destructive coating thickness meter for paint, powder coat, plating and protective films on metal. It measures from 0 to 1350 µm (0–53.1 mils), with accuracy of ±(2.5% + 2 µm) up to 1000 µm and ±3.5% above that.
Dual sensing uses magnetic induction on ferrous substrates such as steel and eddy current on non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, so one instrument covers both. It suits automotive paint inspection, industrial coating QA, galvanising and plating checks, and marine and protective coatings. See the MT155 datasheet.
