The Major Tech MT155 is a coating thickness meter for fast, precise, non-destructive measurement of coatings on metal. It measures 0–1350 µm (0–53.1 mils) with guaranteed tolerance of ±(2.5%+2 µm) from 0–1000 µm and ±3.5% from 1000–1350 µm.
Dual sensing — magnetic induction for ferrous substrates and eddy-current for non-ferrous — lets it handle paint, powder coating, plating and protective films on steel and aluminium alike. Ideal for automotive inspection, industrial coating QA, galvanising and refinishing work.
