3M Dynatel 2220M

The 3M Dynatel 2220M is a cable and pipe locator for finding and tracing buried power cables, telecommunications cables and metallic pipes. A transmitter applies a signal to the line, and the handheld receiver follows it above ground, showing the route and depth of the buried service.

It is used by utilities, telecommunications contractors, civil and excavation crews, and facility maintenance teams to locate services before digging, reducing the risk of strikes and costly damage.
