The LumaSense IMPAC IS 140 and IGA 140 are compact digital pyrometers for non-contact temperature measurement in industrial processes. The IS 140 uses a silicon detector suited to hot metals and high temperatures, while the IGA 140 uses an InGaAs detector for a lower starting temperature.
They are used in induction heating and hardening, forging, rolling mills, welding and brazing, and heat treatment, where contact sensors would be damaged or too slow. Fast response and a small measuring spot allow accurate readings on small or moving targets. More options are in our temperature range.
