The Skinner Innovations HST heat detector test kit is a portable tool for safely testing high-temperature probe heat detectors in the field, without removing them from service. Proving that fire-system heat detectors trip at their rated set point is a critical safety and compliance task, and the HST makes it fast and repeatable.
Its 5/8 inch test chamber accepts Fenwal DAF rate-compensated heat detectors (including models 27121, 28021 and 28020) and other probe heat detectors, with up to five user-selectable test temperatures from 140 °F. A large LED indicator stays readable when working at height, and it is battery powered for commissioning and routine maintenance.
