The Define Instruments Zen RTU Mini is a compact and versatile remote terminal unit, built for industrial automation and remote monitoring. It connects directly to SCADA systems or PLCs via RS485 Modbus RTU or Ethernet Modbus TCP, with optional WiFi to reduce cabling costs and support flexible installation.

Designed to save space and cut installation costs, its small 3.98 x 1.38 x 4.72-inch footprint fits neatly into tight control panels. It features up to 16 isolated universal inputs, supporting signals such as thermocouple, RTD, mA, mV, voltage, frequency, counter, and potentiometer. Built-in isolation on each input ensures noise-free performance in harsh industrial environments.

The Zen RTU Mini also includes 4 digital inputs, USB programming, and DIN rail mounting for fast setup. Whether used in manufacturing, utilities, or process control, it streamlines data collection, enhances system integration, and reduces hardware complexity.
