DwyerOmega High Temperature Heater Tapes

DwyerOmega High Temperature Heater Tapes, available in standard, heavy, and wide insulated options, features fine gage stranded resistance wires double-insulated with braided fiberglass. Designed for flexibility and reliable heating on conductive surfaces.

DwyerOmega High Temperature Heater Tapes deliver high flexibility and efficient heat transfer for demanding applications. They use 36–40 gauge stranded resistance wires that manufacturers double-insulate with braided fiberglass and knit into flat tapes.

For added durability, heavy insulated tapes use braided fiberglass yarn layers, while wide tapes combine multiple heating elements sewn into fiberglass cloth.

Typical applications include SRT, FGH, FWH, STH, or SWH series tapes for direct contact on conductive surfaces. Do not use FGS or SST series tapes on conductive materials.

Specifications:

  • Heating Elements: 36–40 gauge resistance wire.
  • Lead Wires: Separable plug fitted on opposite ends of the tape.
  • Heating Element Insulation: Double-braided fiberglass.
  • Dielectric Strength: Exceeds 2000 V.
