The GG-NH3 Ammonia Gas Detector is purpose-built for demanding industrial environments where ammonia safety is critical. Designed for the food and refrigeration industries, it performs reliably in engine rooms, blast freezers, docks, food processing areas, breweries, refineries, fishing vessels, and outdoor locations.

Using advanced electrochemical and catalytic bead sensor technology, the GG-NH3 adapts to harsh conditions while providing accurate and consistent ammonia detection. Each electrochemical sensor is equipped with SAFECELL® technology, which automatically checks the sensor’s electrical integrity every 40 seconds. If a failure or missing cell is detected, the output drops to 0.5 mA to trigger a fault, ensuring complete system awareness.

To withstand moisture, washdowns, and corrosive environments, the detector features a sealed circuit board and NEMA 3RX heated enclosure designed for outdoor and cold-storage applications. A built-in three-stage heater ensures dependable operation even in freezing temperatures. Every unit is gas-specific, range-specific, and sensor-technology-specific for maximum accuracy.

The GG-NH3 includes a 2-year warranty on both the sensing element and transmitter, and is SGS listed to UL 61010-1 and CSA C22.2 No. 61010-1-12, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.
