The DwyerOmega V8 Vane Operated Flow Switch provides simple operation with accurate flow measurements. Suitable for industrial systems, it can start/stop motors, pumps, engines, etc. Its durable build is leak-proof, and it’s UL-recognized for your peace of mind.
The DwyerOmega V8 Vane Operated Flow Switch protects equipment by delivering simple and dependable operation. In most applications, the switch remains off while sufficient liquid or air flow is present. When flow stops, the vane spring moves the vane and actuates a switch rated 5A @ 120/250 VAC to start or stop motors, pumps, or engines.
The DwyerOmega V8 Vane Operated Flow Switch features a leak-proof design and a tough polyphenylene sulfide body with excellent chemical resistance. The full-size trimmable vane includes molded graduations, allowing installation in pipes from 1-inch to 6-inch diameter. The flow switch operates at pressures up to 150 psig (10 bar) and temperatures up to 212°F (100°C).
The V8 Vane Operated Flow Switch suits various chemical processing and industrial system applications. It meets UL industrial motor controller requirements under UL Standard. For more details please see the PDF attachment.
