DwyerOmega FMA900A Hot Wire Air Velocity Transmitter
The DwyerOmega FMA900A Hot Wire Air Velocity Transmitter offers fast, accurate airflow monitoring with alarm output and analog signal, up to 10,000 FPM.
The DwyerOmega FMA900A Hot Wire Air Velocity Transmitter provides fast, accurate airflow measurement up to 10,000 FPM (50.8 m/s). Designed with a reliable hot wire sensor, it outputs a linear 0–5 VDC or 4–20 mA signal proportional to air velocity. A built-in SPST relay activates a high-flow alarm, adjustable from 0 to 100% of range, and indicated by a red LED. A green LED shows power status. With a rapid 250 ms response time and ±2% full-scale accuracy, it’s ideal for HVAC systems, fume hoods, cleanrooms, and industrial ventilation. The unit is available with either a fixed 305 mm (12″) probe or a remote probe with a 4.5 m (15′) shielded cable, offering flexible installation.
