The Zeal P3003 wall-mount hygrometer provides reliable, continuous monitoring of relative humidity and temperature using the traditional Mason’s wet and dry bulb method. Manufactured by GH Zeal of England since 1888, the P3003 is a mercury-free instrument designed for permanent wall-mounting in indoor environments where ongoing humidity monitoring is required.
Two red spirit-filled thermometers are mounted on a silk-screened scale inside a moulded plastic wall-mounted case. A cotton wick connects the wet bulb thermometer to a water reservoir, allowing continuous evaporation from the wet bulb. The difference between the wet and dry bulb temperatures is converted to relative humidity using the supplied hygrometric tables. All parts — thermometers, wicks, and reservoir — are replaceable, making the P3003 a long-service instrument for environmental monitoring in storage facilities, laboratories, and industrial environments.
