This precision instrument uses wet and dry bulb Red Spirit filled thermometers for measuring relative humidity with unparalleled accuracy. A water reservoir is linked to the wet bulb by a cotton sleeve. The humidity is calculated using a water-soaked cotton sleeve at the bulb of the wet-bulb thermometer. The temperature of the wet-bulb thermometer changes depending on how quickly the water evaporates. With the specialist chart included, you can easily calculate the relative humidity.
The Zeal P3003 Hygrometer is mercury-free making it both safe and more environmentally friendly.
It offers a temperature range of -5 to +50°C to calculate the %RH. Accuracy of +-5% for humidity and +-1°C for temperature.
