The Wisdom 6A Cordless Cap Lamp is an ATEX M1, IECEx and ANZEx-certified LED mining light built for underground miners, tunnellers and hazardous-area crews who need bright, dependable illumination shift after shift. Supplied by Hinco Instruments in Perth, WA, it pairs intrinsically safe certification with a rugged, impact-resistant body rated to IP68 for full submersion protection to 20 metres.
Powered by dual Panasonic 3500 mAh lithium-ion batteries and a high-efficiency CREE LED, the 6A delivers up to 240 lumens with a 220-metre beam on high, plus a fuel-saving 50-lumen low mode. Run time reaches roughly 13 hours on high and up to 60 hours on low, so a single charge comfortably covers a full underground shift.
ATEX M1, IECEx and ANZEx (Queensland coal) approvals make the 6A suitable for gassy underground coal mines and other explosive atmospheres. The stainless-steel adjustable bracket clips securely to any standard mining helmet, and a red/green LED charge indicator shows status at a glance.
