The Royce Water Aqua 22M Portable MLSS & Sludge Blanket Meter is a handheld analyser that delivers fast, accurate measurement of mixed liquor suspended solids (MLSS) and sludge blanket levels in wastewater treatment applications. It is the current model in the Royce Water Aqua portable range, superseding the earlier Aqua 22, and gives operators reliable process data in seconds without waiting on laboratory sampling.

Built for daily field use, the Aqua 22M pairs a lightweight, rugged handheld body with a detachable infrared optical probe that operates in depths of up to 10 metres. Real-time MLSS concentrations and the sludge/water interface level are shown on a bright backlit LCD, so operators can check aeration basins, monitor secondary clarifiers and locate sludge blanket levels quickly and consistently. A fast response time, durable construction and rechargeable battery make it an efficient tool for routine process control across municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants.
