The Lambrecht u[sonic] 16470 is a 2D ultrasonic wind speed and direction sensor with no moving parts, so there are no bearings to wear or cups to seize.
The Lambrecht u[sonic] 16470 is a 2D ultrasonic wind speed and direction sensor with no moving parts, so there are no bearings to wear or cups to seize. It measures wind speed from 0 to 75 m/s at 0.1 m/s resolution and direction across 360° with ±1° accuracy.
Integrated transducer heating keeps it working in icing conditions, and RS-485 (Modbus or NMEA), SDI-12, analogue and pulse outputs connect it to loggers, PLCs and weather stations.
