Kestrel 1000 Wind Meter | Handheld Anemometer | Hinco Perth WA

The Kestrel 1000 Wind Meter is a compact handheld anemometer for accurate wind speed measurement in the field. Waterproof, floats in water, and features a user-replaceable impeller. The simplest and most portable instrument in the Kestrel range.

The Kestrel 1000 wind meter is the entry-level instrument in the Kestrel range — purpose-built for fast, accurate wind speed measurement in a pocket-sized, waterproof package. It uses Kestrel’s proven electronic rotating vane impeller technology to deliver reliable readings in the field, on construction sites, at sea, and in agricultural environments.

The 1000 measures current, average, and maximum wind speed across six selectable units (km/h, m/s, mph, fpm, knots, Beaufort). Its waterproof and floating design means it survives the unexpected, and the user-replaceable impeller extends instrument life without sending the meter away for service. Available from Hinco, Perth’s authorised Kestrel distributor.
