The Kestrel DROP D3FW fire weather monitor is a compact, wireless data logger designed for continuous fire weather monitoring at fixed locations. Unlike handheld meters, the D3FW is deployed on site and logs temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, heat index, and dewpoint continuously — providing a weather data record for incident documentation and fire behaviour analysis.

With up to one year of battery life on a single lithium coin-cell battery, the D3FW can be left unattended at a remote monitoring point for extended periods. Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity links to the Kestrel LiNK app for real-time viewing and data download.
