The Kestrel Basic Vane Mount transforms any Bluetooth-enabled Kestrel 1000–3500 Series meter into a hands-free weather monitoring station. Mounts to any standard tripod or ⅓-20 threaded bracket.
The Kestrel Basic Vane Mount is the purpose-designed tripod mounting solution for Bluetooth-enabled Kestrel Basic Series meters (1000–3500). By securing the meter on a tripod or fixed bracket, it converts a handheld instrument into a continuous, unattended weather monitoring station — logging data wirelessly to the Kestrel LiNK app without an operator holding the meter.
The large wind vane and smooth pivot keep the mounted meter accurately aligned into the wind for consistent wind speed and direction readings. Compatible with any standard ⅓-20 threaded tripod or bracket (tripod not included). Ideal for fire weather observation posts, construction site monitoring, and agricultural weather stations. Available from Hinco, Perth’s authorised Kestrel distributor.
