The Ametek Jofra HPC40 Handheld Pressure Calibrator is a compact, battery-powered field instrument designed for pressure measurement and pressure transmitter calibration in process plants and industrial facilities. Combining pressure measurement with integrated 4–20 mA signal measurement and 24 V DC loop power in a lightweight, IP54-rated housing, the HPC40 allows a complete pressure loop calibration to be performed efficiently by a single instrument technician.
Pressure measurement ranges extend up to 400 bar across pneumatic and hydraulic models, with 0.05% FS accuracy covering the working pressure ranges of most industrial pressure transmitters. Adjustable pressure damping allows stable, readable measurements on pulsating or fluctuating pressure lines — a common challenge when calibrating transmitters connected to live process lines. The large backlit LCD simultaneously displays pressure and electrical readings, so the transmitter input and output can be read in a single glance. A comprehensive set of engineering units (bar, mbar, psi, kPa, MPa, kg/cm², inH₂O, mmHg and more) covers all common pressure specifications.
Battery life of up to 10 hours from standard AA or rechargeable cells is sufficient for a full day of calibration rounds without recharging. The pressure connection is ¼” NPT male with BSP and adaptor fittings available. ATEX/IECEx Zone 2 intrinsically safe models are available for calibration in hazardous classified environments such as oil and gas facilities, chemical plants and mine sites.
