The Isotech Pegasus 4853 is a portable furnace that makes high-temperature calibration practical outside the laboratory. Where dry blocks run out of range, the Pegasus keeps going – right up into the region where thermocouples do their most demanding work.
Its lightweight furnace design and fast heat-up let technicians calibrate high-temperature sensors on the plant floor rather than removing them for a lab visit, cutting downtime on furnaces, kilns and heat-treatment equipment.
Fitted with the optional blackbody target, the Pegasus also calibrates infrared thermometers – a genuinely useful extra for teams that maintain non-contact measurement alongside contact sensors.
