The Kestrel 3550AG spraying weather meter is designed specifically for agricultural spray operators, agronomists, and pest management contractors who need to assess spraying conditions before and during pesticide applications. Off-target drift poses serious risks to neighbouring crops, livestock, waterways, and the community — the 3550AG provides the data needed to make compliant, safe spraying decisions.
Alongside wind speed, temperature, and humidity, the 3550AG calculates Delta-T — the parameter used by Australian agricultural standards (APVMA guidelines) to determine suitable spraying conditions for droplet evaporation and target coverage. Bluetooth connectivity links directly to the Kestrel LiNK app for data logging and condition recording. Available from Hinco, Perth’s authorised Kestrel distributor.
