The WIKA IS-3 is an intrinsically safe pressure transmitter designed for use in hazardous area classifications where explosive or flammable gases or liquids may be present. Certified to Ex ia ignition protection, the IS-3 can be used in Zone 0, Zone 1, and Zone 2 hazardous areas without requiring an explosion-proof enclosure.
Available with standard process connections or flush diaphragm options for viscous and contaminating media, the IS-3 features an optional field case for operation in extreme environmental conditions. The compact and lightweight design suits a wide range of process connections and installation configurations.
