The Kestrel Rotating Vane Mount & Carry Case is the purpose-designed mounting and transport solution for Kestrel 5000 Series meters. It transforms a handheld instrument into a tripod-mounted portable weather station — enabling continuous unattended wind speed, wind direction, and full environmental data logging without an operator holding the meter.

The precision-engineered rotating wind vane and one-piece boom design provide greater stability and more accurate wind direction readings than previous mounting solutions. The improved retention system securely holds the 5000 Series meter on the mount. The integrated carry case protects the meter and mount during transport between field locations.
