Vaisala WXT530 Weather Transmitter

The Vaisala WXT530 Weather Transmitter provides six essential weather parameters in one compact device: air pressure, temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed, and direction. Features low power consumption, analog inputs for third-party sensors, and solar-powered options. Multiple configurations available.

The Vaisala WXT530 weather transmitter measures six weather parameters — air pressure, temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed and wind direction — in one compact, maintenance-free instrument. With low power draw and solar-compatible operation, it is ideal for remote and off-grid weather stations across Australia.

Six parameters in one compact instrument

Available in configurations WXT531 to WXT536, the WXT530 offers flexible digital communication (RS-232, RS-485, SDI-12, Modbus and NMEA 0183) plus analog inputs for third-party sensors, so it drops straight into existing weather and environmental monitoring systems. With no moving parts in its wind and rain sensing, it runs virtually maintenance-free.

Key features

  • Six weather parameters in a single compact housing
  • Models WXT531–WXT536 for different parameter combinations
  • Low power consumption with solar-powered operation
  • RS-232 / RS-485 / SDI-12 / Modbus / NMEA 0183 outputs
  • Analog inputs for additional third-party sensors

Typical applications

The WXT530 is deployed in agricultural and crop networks, mining and port weather monitoring, road and transport weather stations, and marine and renewable-energy sites. Explore Hinco’s full weather station range and other environmental monitoring instruments.
